Hello, My name is Ellen Scites. Thank you for reading my profile! I discovered my passion for Social Work as a teen. At that time in my life, I was inspired by a social worker who guided my family through some of life's challenges. I realized then I wanted to dedicate my career to helping others. Whatever issues may currently be troubling you, I am here to listen and empower you in a safe space. Together, we will collaborate to achieve your stated goals. When we work together, my goal is to make you feel heard, comfortable, and able to be your authentic self. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, grief, illness, addiction, burnout, relationship issues, anger, and/or aging issues, I am here to support you through it and help you move forward towards a healthier version of yourself. I utilize evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strengths Based, DBT, Person-Centered, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused.
